I find joy inspiring teachers to lean on the workshop approach as a foundation for responsive literacy instruction.

My work is inspired by the latest research and each school project is designed based on relevant professional texts. Teachers and School Leaders are guided through the process of adapting and maximizing the impact of professional resources to best meet the needs of learners in each school’s unique context.

I have worked extensively with the Teachers College Units of Study and support schools around the world to build understanding around adapting the resource to best fit the needs and demands of specific learning communities and curriculums.

Since joining the International/PYP community in 2008 I have been identifying and developing opportunities to authentically intersect the PYP with the wealth of resources found in the TC Units of Study and the workshop model..
